“We could have not asked for better food at our wedding! DeAnna and Christina were very easy to work with and answered all questions that we had throughout the planning process. The... food tasted just as good at the reception as it did during our tasting! We definitely would recommend Bailey Family Catering to anyone looking for an excellent reception meal.”

“We hired Bailey Family Catering for our wedding in Augusta, KY, and they were absolutely perfect in every way! We chose them over other caterers because of how good their food is! ...As a picky eater, the food was one of my top priorities for our big day. DeAnna was responsive, helpful, and quick to make changes we requested. Once we got our final headcount and discovered we were way under the number of guests we quoted, DeAnna helped us add appetizers to our menu just a few months before the wedding. This shift really helped take stress off our plate. Bailey Family Catering was on time with plenty of food on the wedding day. They set up quickly and were extremely professional. I personally thought it was a nice touch that they offered to help set up our dessert table and cut our cake, even though we brought in our own desserts. It was nice to not have to think about those things during our reception. We had zero issues at any point working with Bailey Family Catering. Everything from the tasting to the leftovers felt very personalized - like we could've been their only client. Speaking of leftovers, we barely had any because everyone was RAVING about the food! I feel like we got our money's worth 100%. We will be hiring them in the future for sure! (Also, if you're thinking about the spinach and cheese ravioli, DO IT!! I would give them five stars for that dish alone.)”

“We just hired Bailey Family Catering for a corporate event and we were blown away! The food and experience was absolutely amazing! The ingredients were locally sourced and fresh, t...he dishes were beautifully presented and the flavors were incredible. We had apps, charcuterie, meatballs, soups and other small luncheon items. Everyone was raving and going back for seconds! The staff was so professional and friendly to all our guests. We love that they are a multi-generation family owned business too. They have stood the test of time and we certainly know why! We'll definitely be using them again for future events. We can't recommend them enough!”

“Bailey Family Catering went above and beyond for our special day, and I couldn’t be happier that we chose them. They didn’t just serve our food — they took care of absolutely every...thing, from clearing dishes at the tables and handling all the cleanup and returns to the rental company, to setting out our desserts (from a different vendor) and even bringing out our cake for the cake cutting. Every single member of their team was so kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. They even plated my food from the buffet for me so I wouldn’t risk getting my dress dirty, which was such a thoughtful gesture I’ll never forget. I primarily worked with Christina, who was always warm, prompt, and kind in her communication. Everything about their service was organized, calm, and smooth. The only small hiccup — they forgot to set out dessert plates and napkins — was handled beautifully. As soon as we mentioned it, they apologized and immediately took care of it with grace and professionalism. They even boxed up our cake afterward without us asking, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise since it allowed us to save some and still enjoy our other desserts that night. The food itself was absolutely incredible — several guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’d ever had, including our photographer who’s been to countless weddings. We went with a more affordable buffet option, but the quality easily exceeded that of much pricier caterers. Everything was delicious, and there were barely any leftovers because everyone went back for seconds! Bailey Family Catering’s pricing felt very fair for the quality and service we received, and their military discount was a huge blessing for us. What stood out most, though, was their genuine care — communication never felt like a business transaction. It felt personal, like they truly wanted our day to be perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for reliable, kind, and professional caterers. You won’t be disappointed — their food and service are simply phenomenal.”

Our prep experience was so great t...hat our parents used them for our wedding rehearsal brunch. We did buffet style which went by quickly. There were also staff who were helping to move things along and clean up in between. We were also able to rent china, silverware, and napkins through them which was so nice to have all of our dinner service supplies coming from one place. Thank you to the Bailey Family staff!”

They provided our appetizers during the cocktail hour which was great. When they noticed the buffet line getting long, they adjusted instantly and had the line go down both sides of the table. Everyone was happy and fed in a short amount of time. They set up and tore down the food serving areas, I cannot thank them enough!”

“Although the food was good and the wait staff was friendly and did a great job, I am concerned that I wrote to them after the wedding to tell them how disappointed I was that they ...did not box up any appetizers for us to take home. They must have divided it between the staff. I ordered food for 120 guests. 26 were not there for the appetizer time due to pictures. At the end of the night, I didn't realize with the food we took home, which wasn't much, that there were zero appetizers that we paid for. How do you not have food left over when 26 people weren't there to eat it. Also, we didn't receive any teriyaki chicken. I need to trust a company to be able to use them and I don't.”

“We unfortunately did not have a good experience. From the start, communication was not there. The first meeting we had DeAnna was running late to something and ended the call afte...r 10 minute of the time we had scheduled. After the food tasting we had another meeting to discuss menu options to get the quote. Over a month later I reach out to her and she responds that they will not be going forward with our booking. I can understand that in the sense that maybe we were asking too much of them. However, we received no response from DeAnna letting us know that it wouldn’t work out and we’d have to look elsewhere. The communication with DeAnna was not professional in the sense that there really wasn’t any. We had high hopes for them because we’d seen good reviews, but we were overall disappointed and I truly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone because of their lack of communication.”

“I I was very disappointed in the meal… the roast beef was so dry it was crumbling. They had a hard time slicing it. There was no salad dressing on any salads that they put on the t...ables none, the green beans were hard as a rock, the rigatoni was so dry it looked awful, and they made so much extra food. We had a whole tub of everything left over I would think by now they would know how much food 200 people eat. I feel like they went way overboard just to make money. What a waste of food.. you know you don’t do a wedding every week so you don’t know what to ask, but I was not comfortable with this place at all. Very disappointing. I’m still depressed over it.”

“We hired Bailey Family Catering for our daughter and son in law's April wedding. From the tastings to the customer service, they are top quality. The food is delicious. Our daughte...r and son in law chose the Italian Buffet for their guests. We received nothing but praise for the food. Bailey Family Catering makes the food in house. Hor' dourves were served elegantly, as well as the main meal. We also hired Bailey Family Catering bar tenders to serve the beverages. All servers were excellent and very professional. They helped to make the wedding worry-free.”

“Let's start with the obvious, their food is fantastic! They catered my daughter's wedding for 225 people. Everything worked out perfectly, and plenty of food to spare. Matter of... fact, we liked so much of the food choices, we used them for a next day smaller party so we could eat more of their options. And don't forget the appetizers and late-night snacks. We loved all of it! The team lead and all the staff were great. I definitely recommend them!”

“It is really hard to prepare great food for 150 people but Bailey Family Catering exceeded our expectations. Every table we went up to at our 150 guest wedding brought up how good ...their food was. The salt pretzels and cheese were a huge hit at cocktail hour. The customer service from start to finish was seamless. We got nicely packaged left overs to enjoy with our whole family the following day and it was still just as good as the night before! Their prices were the best out of many Cincinnati and northern Kentucky caterers I reached out to. I could not recommend Bailey Family Catering enough!”

“I had a great experience from the start with Bailey Family Catering. We had a salad, chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, and rolls at our wedding. They were... able to make the salad without nuts since I have nut allergies in my family which I greatly appreciated. Everyone I talked to told me they loved the food, and I did too. I have extreme germ anxiety and they were very clean and professional which made me feel comfortable. They also helped set up our cocktail hour appetizers and desserts which we brought in ourselves, so that was super kind of them. All the people we interacted with from Bailey Family Catering were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with billing at the end of the process since they had just switched billing systems and they were able to get it sorted out for us and get us our refund for accidentally overpaying. I would be happy to work with them again.”

“We had a great experience with Bailey Family Catering and highly recommend their services. I have celiac and eat a gluten free diet and they took extra precautions to make sure th...at the food was safe for me and our other gluten free guests. We had requested mac n cheese at our wedding and expected this to not be gluten free, but they made a small batch that was safe for me to eat and was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the food and we've gotten so many compliments from guests.”

“While we were very impressed by our initial tasting & happy that Bailey Family offered a variety of station options, when it came down to the wedding day we were not thrilled with ...the execution. Our dessert table didn’t have plates or utensils as requested, salad dressing were left in Kraft bottles and placed on the station table (not the look we were going for), station organization did not make sense for flow of traffic (food items being arranged oddly, leaving people to think that certain toppings were not part of the station), we did not receive any food leftover to take home despite seeing pans of food left at the end of the night especially from out late night snack, and it was hard to get responses in a timely manner sometimes. While the dinner service was not a huge success, we did receive compliments on the cocktail hour small bites.”

“Our first initial tasting everything was spectacular! But when it came to our wedding day, we had buffet style and one of our sides was wrong. The employees that were there to “mon...itor” our guests portions were very rude. They tried to not let us take home our leftovers even though we paid for it all and also were not allowing guests to come up and get seconds when we had PLENTY of food since we had people we didn’t show up to our wedding. Price was great but honestly would rather spend more money to have better service than go through what we went through with them. I will always stand by, you get what you pay for.”

“Food was delicious! For our wedding dinner we catered a buffet of braised short ribs, roasted red potatoes, Alfredo pasta, green beans & salad with assorted breads. We added pretze...ls with beer cheese for the late night snack which was a huge hit! The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because portions were small & the late night snack was gone in seconds -wish there was more as I didn’t get one!😩”

“Bailey Family Catering was a fantastic vendor and has amazing food! They offer a wide variety of service options that include plated meals, buffet, or food stations/bars. They can ...create almost any kind of menu and it will taste delicious. We had a full pasta bar with three sauces, 2 meats, green beans, garlic bread and apple walnut salad. Then we had a slider bar with cheeseburgers, pulled pork, and crab cake. Finally we also had a fry bar with many toppings. And the price was very reasonable. My guests complimented the food all night. I wish I hadn’t left my to-go box behind. It would been a great midnight snack! The only drawback I had was communication. It was hard to get ahold of them to finish the contract or answer follow up questions. My venue coordinator reassured me that while they are growing and have had trouble keeping up with the communication, they are really good and we didn’t have anything to be worried about. And sure enough, they were there, food was fantastic and the service was great!!! I highly recommend Bailey Family Catering!”

Our venue was at my now husband parents farm so they used the kitchen to ma...ke some of the appetizers and after they were done they cleaned up everything in the kitchen, even the messes we had before they arrived. “I waited a bit to decide to write this review. The last thing I wanted to do was write a review when I’m upset and come off worse then what it was. We got married last month so I’v...e had time to cool off. I was unfortunately very disappointed in our catering. I raved about the food for a year and when it came to the day of….It did not match up. The chicken was dry. The carrots were supposed to be a sweet and spicy glaze and they were very spicy with no sweet. The most upsetting part of it all, they ran out of food. Some people went up for seconds and it was already gone. Very disappointed and sadly would not recommend.”

They also took concerns about a family member’s allergies very seriously, and made a separate plate for this family member before cooking the rest of the food. As a bonus, they also had an amazing rapport with the coordinator at our wedding venue (Carnegie Hall at Newport) and they worked so well together, which helped our day work so well.”

“We had Bailey Family Catering for our wedding and people are still raving three weeks later about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Every staff member was incred...ibly kind and went the extra mile! They even held up a curtain and walked me to the bathroom so no one would see me in my dress before the ceremony started! They also helped group all of our decorations together/cleaned up while we were out on the dance floor. They were fun to be around and always had great attitudes! 10/10 recommend using them for your event!”

“We were very excited to sign with Bailey Family, as we loved the food, the fact that they are a small family owned company, and we love that they give back to the local community! ...After our tasting, we were told the quote would be emailed the next day. Over two weeks went by with nothing, and I had to send two emails to get a response saying they were “backed up.” Another week went by with no communication whatsoever, so I followed up once again explaining that we are pursuing other caterers, and still no response. The lack of communication and professionalism is alarming, and I can only hope that this is a one off situation and not how they normally conduct business.”
